Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 egg plus water to make 1/2 cup
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp soda

Cream oleo and sugar. Beat egg and water, then add to oleo and sugar. Add flour and baking powder. Add vanilla. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
