Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 2 sticks oleo, softened
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cup flour
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Cream oleo, Crisco, and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Add milk. Sift flour and baking powder together. Combine with egg mixture. Mix well. Place in cold oven. Turn oven to 350 degrees and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
