Pancakes

Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp meal (optional)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp Wesson® oil
  • 1 egg

Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the egg, Wesson oil, and buttermilk. Beat well. Drop on greased griddle and cook on medium heat, turning until brown. Stack with squeeze margarine in between.

Makes 12 pancakes.
