- 1 cup butter
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 3 cup flour (Menu)
- 2 level tsp baking powder
- 8 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter and sugar together well, then add (little at a time) flour which has been sifted with baking powder; add milk slowly with this. Fold in lightly and thoroughly the stiffly beaten whites; add vanilla.
Bake in loaf or layers in moderate oven.
