Pound Cake

Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 bananas, mashed

Mix one box of vanilla cake mix with 1 teaspoon of soda and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Push a hole in dry ingredients and add 1/2 cup of cooking oil. Then add 1 small can crushed pineapple juice, 1/2 cup of pecans, 3 slightly beaten eggs, and 2 mashed bananas. Stir by hand (I mean spoon stir).

Bake in Bundt® pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let the pound cake cool for a few minutes and I promise there will never be a crumb left.
