Coconut Cookies

Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 (3 oz) can coconut

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add flour, vanilla, and coconut. Roll by hand into small balls. Put on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Flatten with fork dipped in ice water. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
