Caramel Pie

Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 2 cup sugar (1 cup browned on stove)
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 Tbsp flour or cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Cook until thick. Put in baked pie shell. Put meringue on top. Bake until brown.
