No-Peek Stew

  • 2 lbs stew meat
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms
  • 2/3 soup can of water

Cut stew meat in bite size pieces. Put in large roasting pan with lid. Add other ingredients and mix well. Cook covered in 300 degree oven for 3 hours. Don’t peek. Serve over hot rice or noodles. Use sour cream as accompaniment.

Serves 8.
