Clem Tucker’s Spice Pecans

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/3 cup Pet® milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 2 cup pecan halves

Mix sugar, salt, and spices, add milk. Cook till firm ball forms in cold water (almost instantly). Cook till firm ball forms in cold water (almost instantly). It really cooks quick. Add vanilla, margarine, and pecans. Stir till you can’t stir!!! Pour out on waxed paper and separate– using to forks. Let dry before storing them. They freeze well. This sounds like a lot of spices but they are really good (and I don’t even like much spice).
