  • 2 package dry yeast dissolved in 1 cup very warm water
  • 1 cup Crisco®
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup All Bran® cereal
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 6 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 eggs

Combine Crisco® and sugar in large bowl. Add bran and salt, stir in boiling water and cool to lukewarm. Stir in beaten eggs and yeast mixture. Add one half of the flour and beat well. Add remaining flour and mix well. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease surface. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Next day, form into rolls and place in greased baking pans. Let rise in warm place until double, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Bake at 400 degrees until done. Makes about 3 dozen rolls. Dough will keep in refrigerator about one week. These freeze. Thaw and heat. I have used oil instead of Crisco® and they were just as good.
