- 6 lbs pork spareribs
- water to cover
Sauce:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 2/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
Cook ribs in water to cover for about 45 minutes. Drain and set aside. Combine the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil. Lower heat and cook about 3 minutes. Spread ribs in a foil-lined pan and spread sauce over them, making sure all are covered.
Baked at 350 degrees about 45 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
