- 1 quart cut and scraped corn, fresh or frozen
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat a big skillet on top of the stove and add about 2 Tbsp cooking oil. Stir in corn and about 1 cup water. Season with about 2 tsp salt and 1 Tbsp sugar, and add 1 or 2 Tbsp oleo. Let it start to cook before you put it in the oven. Have your teakettle full of hot water.
