Whipping Cream Loaf Cake

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1 carton whipping cream
  • 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 3 cup all purpose flour sifted 4 or 5 times
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Add flour and cream. Add vanilla and mix well. Start in cold oven, bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Use 10 ” tube pan. Test for doneness may take 10 minutes longer.
