- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 3 large eggs
- 4 Tbsp cocoa or a little more
- 1 tsp vanilla
Mix sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch. Add egg yolks (well beaten). Keep whites for meringue. Add milk gradually and cook until thick for pie. Pour into baked 9 or 10 inch crust, cover with meringue and let brown in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
