- 2 sticks margarine
- 3/4 cup Wesson® oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and oil. Add vanilla and mix well. Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture. I sometimes add 1 cup chopped pecans. Drop by spoonsful on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a small glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 300 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
