Blackberry Punch

Looking at Cooking with Mildred Swift

  • 1 quart blackberries
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • juice 1 orange
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • pinch slat

Stew blackberries in water. Strain and squeeze out juice. Add sugar and lemon juice. Chill. Dilute with equal amounts of chilled charged water and pour over ice cubes or a block of ice.
