Looking at Cooking with Mildred Swift
- 1 quart ice cream (vanilla)
- 6 1/2 cups cold Dr. Pepper°
- 1/2 teaspoon (scant) rum extract
Place ice cream in a 4 quart bowl. When softened sufficiently, beat with a rotary beater until smooth. Gradually add 2 cups of the cold Dr. Pepper°, beating until well mixed. pour in the remaining cold Dr. Pepper and mix well with a spoon.
Makes about 20 servings. Children love this punch.
