Hot Spiced Percolator Punch

Looking at Cooking with Mildred Swift

  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1/2 tablespoon whole allspice
  • 3 sticks cinnamon, broken
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cups pineapple juice

Put pineapple juice and water in bottom part of an 8 cup percolator, and the rest of the ingredients in the top. Perk for 10 minutes until spices permeate. Serve hot in mugs or punch cups.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
