- 1 10 ounce package pie crust mix
- Dash Salt
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Combine pie crust mix, salt, and cheese mixing lightly with a fork. Add sherry and mix until evenly moistened; shape dough into a ball. Roll to a12 inch square on lightly floured board. Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over dough, and roll lightly with rolling pin to press seeds onto dough. Cut into strips about 3 inches by 3/4 inch. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in a very hot oven (450 degrees F.) about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool before storing in an airtight container.
Makes 4 dozen.
