  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • orange peel
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder

Bake egg until light and creamy. Add sugar and melted butter. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk. Add prepared orange peel. Bake in well greased frozen juice cans at 350 degrees until bread shrinks from sides of can. Fill each can only 1/2 full. When the bread has slices. You may also bake this in a loaf pan.
