Corn Light Bread

Mrs. Willard Hageman 3 cup corn meal1 cup all-purpose flour3/4 cup sugar1 tsp salt1 tsp soda1 tsp baking powder1/3 cup shortening, melted3 cup buttermilk Combine all ingredients and mix well; spoon into a well-greased 10 inch tube pan. Let stand 10 minutes and bake for 1 hour or until done.
