  • 2 pounds Lean GROUND BEEF, 96% lean is what I used
  • 1 large YELLOW ONION, minced
  • 1 RED BELL PEPPER, minced
  • 2 CELERY RIBS, minced
  • 6 ounce (17 g) can TOMATO PASTE
  • 8 ounce (227g) can TOMATO SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce I added another 1/4 cup than the video showed)
  • 1/4 cup KETCHUP
  • 1 tablespoon BROWN SUGAR
  • 1 tablespoon SMOKED PAPRIKA
  • 2 tablespoons WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
  • 2 teaspoons GARLIC, minced
  • 1 teaspoon CHILI POWDER
  • 1 teaspoon DRY MUSTARD, can substitute YELLOW MUSTARD
  • 1/4 teaspoon SALT and GROUND PEPPER to taste

Stir all ingredients together in a crock pot that has been sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Cover and cook on high at least 4 hours. Or on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Uncover and dip any grease floating on top with a large spoon. Stir to break up hamburger and mix well again. Serve on toasted buns of your choice with slices of cheese.
