Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 3 or 4 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 cup Karo
  • 1 small can Pet® milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Place first 5 ingredients in large boiler. Stir and place over flame. Stirring constantly and when it comes to a good boil, cook for 3 minutes. Remove from flame and beat well until it begins to loose its gloss. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into well buttered pan. Cut while still warm.
